Android based mobile phones are the top target of mobile hackers, virus and malware. These unwanted programs love android phones to make them victim to spread malware. The amazing research was revealed by an antivirus and computer security software company. The increasing preference of mobile users for android handsets is the prime reason for this malware attack trend.

Google Android is the most targeted handset by malware programs and hackers. Online attacks are increasing from groups such as LulzSec (Lulz Security) and Anonymous. LulzSec has spread online havoc by hacking several corporations and government agencies websites over last months. According to McAfee report, this group is spreading these malware just for fun and no monetary goal is targeted by this group.

Currently, Android mobile phones are outselling in the global mobile market with over 60% of the international cell phone market share. As the case with desktops, or any hot selling items, these malware programs will target the major player having the most potential advantage. Android mobiles as prime malware target does not mean that rest are safe or not at risk.

There are several escaping ways to prevent your Android Handset from these malware and hackers. Android Mobiles will not permit installation of any application downloaded external other than Android Market. But this by default function can be changed by enabling just one checkbox. Don’t use any unofficial sources to download applets, use only approved sites, check permissions before installing and stick to your in-built OS security features. Alone these measures will keep you 99% risk free.
